Saint Mary’s Commitment to Military Families

Closely located near Eglin AFB, Hurlburt Field, Duke Field, and the Army 7th Special Forces Group, Saint Mary Catholic School is a proud educational home for many children of military personnel. Our staff, over half of whom have military connections, deeply understand the unique challenges of military life, from school transitions to deployments.

Our Military Point of Contact (MPOC), Andrea Haynes, a military spouse with deep family military ties, is dedicated to ensuring a seamless integration into our community. She organizes monthly Military Kids Club meetings, coordinates Veterans Day and Month of the Military Child activities, and maintains close connections with our military families. Our Director of Guidance, Amy Daniel, works closely with Mrs. Haynes and attends all Military Kids Club meetings. She is also available to meet individually with students when the need arises.

Additionally, our Angel Ambassadors program ensures all new students feel welcome from day one by accompanying them to lunch, introducing them to peers, and guiding them around the school.

For any assistance, please contact Principal Peter Rodgers or Andrea Haynes at our main office at (850) 243-8913.

We also work closely with the Eglin AFB Installation School Liaison Officer, Elaine LaJeunesse. Her contact information is:
